What is Greenscope’s metallic greenhouse?
A metallic greenhouse represents the fusion of modern engineering and horticultural ingenuity. Crafted from durable metals such as aluminum or galvanized steel, this innovative structure stands as a testament to functional aesthetics.
The metallic greenhouse is characterized by its robust framework, meticulously designed to withstand the test of time. Its strength allows for expansive glazed panels, facilitating maximum sunlight penetration while maintaining optimal insulation. This plays a pivotal role in creating an environment where plants thrive regardless of external conditions.
Type of metal used in metallic greenhouse
- Painted (Non-galvanized). They are painted using a coat of aluminum.
- Galvanized. Hot dipped in zinc to give it a longer lasting coat. More resistant to rust and more expensive.
Benefits of constructing a metallic greenhouse
- Erecting a metallic greenhouse extends a bouquet of advantages that resonate profoundly with the modern gardener. One of the most compelling benefits is the provision of an all-season garden, impervious to the whims of weather. The robust metal framework, coupled with advanced glazing technology, creates a controlled environment that nurtures plants year-round.
- Moreover, the metallic greenhouse acts as a formidable barrier against invasive pests, safeguarding delicate crops and ensuring their unimpeded growth. This crucial protection from pests eliminates the need for harmful pesticides, fostering a sustainable approach to cultivation.
- The integration of innovative irrigation systems within the metallic structure enhances water efficiency, directing moisture precisely where it’s needed. This not only conserves resources but also bolsters the health of the crops.
- The culmination of these benefits culminates in increased crop production. With factors like consistent temperature, optimal sunlight, and protection from pests and adverse conditions, yields flourish within the metallic confines.
- In essence, a metallic greenhouse presents an intelligent fusion of technology and agriculture, ushering in a new era of year-round cultivation, protection, resource efficiency, and bountiful harvests.
Uses of metallic green house
A metallic greenhouse unfolds as an invaluable hub for diverse horticultural pursuits. Its versatility encompasses creating an all-season garden, transcending climate limitations and nurturing flora throughout the year. The controlled environment it provides is particularly advantageous for those aiming to plant vegetables that flourish regardless of the external weather fluctuations.
Furthermore, the metallic enclosure offers an ideal habitat for cultivating an assortment of aromatic and culinary delights. Enthusiasts seeking to plant herbs find an optimal haven within, where the controlled conditions foster the growth of herbs with enhanced potency and flavor.
In essence, a metallic greenhouse transforms into an all-encompassing space, accommodating ambitions of an abundant all-season garden, thriving vegetables, and an array of fragrant and flavorsome herbs.

What makes our metallic greenhouse durable?
Our greenhouses are custom-made to meet the climatic condition in different parts of Kenya. They have strong columns that have been designed to give steady roofing support.
Braces, both on the first two arches and columns provide great resistance to strong winds.
The metallic structure also has a median top bar that runs from the apex of the first arches to the last arches, this adds to the strength of the arches.
How we deliver and install the greenhouse
Bringing a metallic greenhouse to life is a meticulous process that marries precision with functionality. It commences with the art of metal fabrication, shaping sturdy components that will form the structure’s foundation.
Once fabrication is complete, the process proceeds with the careful material delivery of these components, ensuring readiness for installation. This journey begins with the precise measurement of the installation area, shaping the dimensions and layout of the greenhouse.
With precision, holes are crafted on the measured space, becoming anchors for stability. Metallic Posts are installed, meticulously fortified using a blend of cements and ballast, ensuring a solid foundation.
The assembly then progresses to the construction of the structural framework, known as covering, which provides protection and insulation for the enclosed environment. Drip installation follows, ensuring efficient irrigation within the controlled space.
To ensure operational fluency, a series of testing and training sessions equip the client with the know-how to operate and maintain the greenhouse effectively. The culmination is the moment of handing over a meticulously crafted and fully functional metallic greenhouse to a delighted and satisfied client.
